Shipping & Returns Policy

My goal is to make sure you get the perfect Elflocked Bohemian piece you’re looking for, hassle free. Whether it’s the perfect piece of jewelry or loc accessory, I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.
I do my best to make sure sizes, dimensions, descriptions and photos are up to date and accurate. I ask that all customers take the time to read the product descriptions and consider all the information given before finalizing a purchase. And if you happen to have any additional questions about a certain item, feel free to reach out and ask. I want everyone to be happy with their purchase but if it turns out, something isn’t quite right, returns and exchanges are possible. Of the reasonable solutions I offer, I’m sure there’s one that just right for you:

Because of the nature of custom made pieces, these selections are neither refundable or exchangeable. These pieces were designed in collaboration with you, for you. When considering a custom piece, please be fully committed and know your details (ex: ring sizes, wrap lengths, etc.) before purchasing. I DO NOT accept returns or exchanges for custom made pieces.

You wouldn’t appreciate buying a dreadwrap only to find out someone else had already worn it, right? So, due to the nature of these specific items being worn in the hair/on the head, these items are not refundable or exchangeable. Again, when considering buying these type of items, please be fully committed and know your details (ex: wrap thickness, length, bead hole diameters, etc.) before purchasing. I DO NOT accept returns for these items.

In the event that when you receive your piece, it isn’t quite right for you, you may return eligible pieces for a full refund of the purchase price in the form of store credit via a digital gift card. Before store credit can be issued, the item must be returned. Returns must be post marked within 14 days of receipt and the item must be received in it’s original condition. You may use the original packaging for returns but please be advised, return packaging and shipping costs are also the responsibility of the buyer so package and ship responsibly. I also recommend insuring your packages. If it were to get lost in the mail, I wouldn’t be able to issue a refund until I recovered the package.

If a return in exchange for store credit isn’t the right solution for you, you can return your item for a small fee. As a small business, I do not offer full refunds. To cover some of the costs I absorb for shipping, insurances, advertising and processing fees, an eligible piece can be returned for a reasonable fee of 7% of the cost of the item. For example, if you purchases a ring for $150 but decide you’d like to return it for a refund, you would be refunded $139.50. Returns must be post marked within 14 days of receipt and the item must be received in it’s original condition. You may use the original packaging for returns but please be advised, return packaging and shipping costs are also the responsibility of the buyer so package and ship responsibly. Once your return is received, an email will be sent to let you know I have received the item and that a refund is being processed and will be issued back to the original payment method. How quickly the funds are back in your account depends on your financial institution. You will need to contact your bank or credit card company for more detailed information on their policies and procedures regarding this.

I offer free domestic shipping on orders over $150 and free international shipping on orders over $300. Shipping times vary depending on what it is you’re buying. Custom orders may take up to 6 weeks to ship from the date the order came in (depending on how many orders I am working on at the time, ahead of yours). Made to Order orders may take up to 7 working days to ship from the date the order came in. Ready to Ship pieces, if ordered before 12p.m.(est) M-F, will ship same day. If ordered after 12p.m.(est), they will ship on the next business day. Once the item has been shipped, you will be notified via email with tracking information. If there are circumstances preventing me to ship in these time frames (ex: I’m out of town doing a show for the weekend), you will be notified via email regarding any shipping delays.
